Over in Australia, kangaroos are pretty much like deer over here. Anyone with a license can hunt them and allegedly they will overpopulate if not hunted. So to be honest, it doesn't really gross me out any more than us eating pigs or venison here in America.
I personally don't like eating pig because of the animal lover in me either. So I get where you're coming from.
I personally would never choose to eat kangaroo for example, lol. But I also don't like gamey meats anyways (duck and venison - I don't like the taste).
But yeah beaver is a new one! It's probably super expensive. I guess if my dog was allergic to, like, EVERYTHING else I'd try it.
