The only reason they do it "under anesthesia" is because the dog is having a procedure done and needs to be microchipped that visit, so they do everything together...the pups are NOT put under anesthesia in order to do the microchipping! I do my own microchipping and believe me, it hurts me alot more than it hurts the puppy! I HATE NEEDLES, but the babies seldom even yelp when they are chipped. The needles on the injector is soo sharp, and it just glides right in with NO or VERY LITTLE stress to the dog! |
