Oh ya, I know all to well how many die because everyone thinks someone else will take them! I've got someone going to check on her in person today - she has been there almost 2 weeks, if they get a feeling she's in danger she'll call and I'll go get her, too. Already took one girl 2 days after Benji died out and found her a great foster home. I wasn't a Yorkie person at all - until Benji, he changed me forever. Now I can't bare to see Yorkies in need without doing what I can to save them!

Does anyone know of a Yorkie rescue in California near LA? I am seeing a bunch in shelters there - and I can only do so much ;(. 2 foster Yorkies would be my limit with my other dogs, especially since I know Lilli is going to need alot of extra care for awhile, and my own 16 year old Afghan is in congestive heart failure, so I have to limit what I take on - I can't spread myself so thin that I can't give everyone the attention and care they deserve!
