A ruffler came with my treadle machine, from 1896! I never saw one till last year, lol! My Mom taught me, but she either never had attachments to her machines, or never used them. The freaky thing is the old one I use looks just like the newer ones, lol, just a few differences to allow you to control what is does better. Happy ruffling!
