I'm right there with you on the price thing, but you have to keep in mind a dog the size of a yorkie eats a tiny, tiny, amount of food. I can afford to feed Yumi and Yuri most anything because they eat so little, and it lasts so long.
My sister feeds hers whatever she finds cheapest at whatever store she happens to be close to when she remembers she needs it, and they eat ALL the time. Her morkie is just slightly larger than Yumi and weighs nearly 3lbs more than her. She's just round. I think she eats more because she isn't getting what she needs from the food, and ends up with a whole bunch more calories than she needs. |
