my 5 month old puppy still does not like baths,but has gotten much better with time. At first he would literally do whatever it took to jump out of the bath, and he is a very friendly dog, but during bath time is the only time i noticed him try to nip at me to get out- That was the worst part. I think taking him to this certain grooming salon, run by one of the big pet store chain companys was what traumatized him.The women were always kind of abrupt and bordering rude to me (the two times i went), but i figured they obviously just liked animals company over people, as they were dog groomers. But he got even more terrified of baths it seemed so i just stopped going there, and decided to clip/groom him myself, and since then his weekly baths have gotten slowly better.
