Default The one who stayed here

Hi all,
Just wanted to give a quick update on Fridays last litter. They are all in their new homes and doing wonderfully.
Tobie ended up staying here. See Tobie is very small and he decided he wasn't going to eat. Of course I never realized he wasn't eating because the bowl was always empty and he had been standing by it licking his lips so I just assumed he ate. Big mistake on my part. Well he crashed and it took lots of care and constant calls and visits to my vet but we got him under control. He lost 1/2 a lb and slowly has gained it all back. He has been thoroughly checked out by my vet and is very healthy, he just has issues with food. He loves his RC mini but isn't crazy about canned food after the 2nd day, and same with home cooking for him. Plus he will not eat out of a bowl. So he eats from a cat saucer and his dry food has to be scattered on the floor because for some reason if it's in a pile he won't touch it. I know some will say he is spoiled rotten, But if he is I don't care He has my heart. So yes Tobie would be considered the runt of the litter but he is in no way unhealthy. Just goes to show you that some overly small pups can be unhealthy but those are usually ones that have been bred with no health testing done by the breeder. I could have let Tobie go to his new home and not cared but that's just not me. I made the decision to breed his mom and I am responsible for his well being. Some have said well since you know he is healthy you should sell him to a pet home, I say I have too much invested in this little guy emotionally.

Here's Tobie
