I won't take/leave my guys in the car if the outside temperature is above 78°F. Given where I live, there is a brief period of about one month, where I can do that.

Actually, most breeds are able to deal with temperatures approaching their normal internal temperature for extended periods, as long as they have shade, reasonable air circulation and water. Some breeds can deal with temperatures well above that.


On very hot days here, my guys deal with Territorial Violations by sitting inside, monitoring the property through a window, and barking only when absolutely necessary. They're not spoiled though...
