Maybe getting a tray that the puppy pad goes in will keep her from laying on it or maybe a dog litter box and put the pad in the bottom instead of litter.

I have heard a lot of puppies doing this- In fact my dog use to always stand on his pad and try to lay- Anytime you see her laying on her pad just call her to get off, then maybe give her a treat. Maybe do that until she stops… I think it is just a “puppy thing”
Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't see any rudeness whatsoever in LTDream's post here...I think it's more along the lines of informative. We've seen a lot of pups here who've grown up in tough conditions and sometimes a tell tale sign can be a pup who was forced to lay in their pee and poop when they were really little - and therefore, they think it's normal to lay on a pee pad bc they weren't able to be taught any different by their Mama.
