I have heard a lot of puppies doing this- In fact my dog use to always stand on his pad and try to lay- Anytime you see her laying on her pad just call her to get off, then maybe give her a treat. Maybe do that until she stops… I think it is just a “puppy thing” |
I never said the puppy came from a puppy mill but most of the times dogs/puppies don't normally lay in there potty unless they had to at some point and just got used to it that is why they say when crate training to use a crate that is only big enough for them to lay in because they won't potty where they lay.
