I imagine they say the amount is far less than is known to be harmful to the dog. I say avoid it like the plague and don't take chances but we have mercury in a lot of fish, particularly some tuna, I think it is, and we don't avoid it. We have radiation in watches and airplanes but we don't avoid them due to the relatively low amounts. I guess it's the same principle.
