For me I am not a fan of belly bands or diapers. Belly bands didn’t work for us- Peanut would just pee (mark) in them and I felt it didn’t teach him anything. When we go places instead of putting that belly band on I watch him and make sure he doesn’t do anything naughty. I never tried diapers, but I feel it doesn’t teach the dog anything. They are just able to go pee whenever they feel like it. For a puppy I feel the owner should teach them the boundaries, you should start training them and teaching them where they can potty and where they can’t. Using diapers and belly bands is just masking the problems.
