Are we to blame if the dog dies 1 day after the owner takes the dog? Are we to blame if the dog dies 4 weeks after the owner get the dog? No.
We didn't offer a Guarantee from the begining and Joy agreed to this.
Do not make us out to be "bad" breeders...We are not hiding anything. We are not being deceitful in the deal that Amanda and Joy had.
We got the 1st set of shots. We got a round of dewormer for the pups. We agreed to get the second set of shots because it is time for it. Amanda didn't agree to get the 2nd round of dewormer because we are still on the 1st dosage of the dewormer. The second round is a different process. The Vet has to administer the 2nd round and the cost is significantly more expensive than the 1st.

Babies don't just get sick and die for one. There has to be a birth defect that most likely the mother knows about before the baby is even born (Modern Technology is a motha) or the baby will die from SIDS. Anywho That is YOUR BABY though nobody else gave birth to her so whatever birth defects that baby may have or illness it acquires you need to deal with because your not giving that baby away like you are with your puppies. So yes you should be held accountable within a respectable amount of time if something goes wrong with that puppy because YOU bred them.
If she agreeded on taking the puppy without the health guarantee then that was her mistake because she may not have educated herself on the purchase of a puppy...BUT JMO I think your definetly taking advantage of her not being aware. I think you just don't want to have to come out of your pocket for the extra expenses so that's why your giving her the dog at 9wks and to charge her $900 (yeah OK). Not saying your a Bad breeder but I just wouldn't buy from you.
