I understand where you are coming from. Many people have approached me about my Dallas (male, fixed & pound rescue 7.5 lbs, zero papers/pedigree) and have asked if he is a girl and if I ever have puppies, if I know of anyone who has puppies. The last person who did this has a scroungy yorkie mix and said she wanted him to have puppies because he is such a great dog. I was gobsmacked. I told her he was not even close to breeding quality, why not rescue a dog that needs a home? It was like talking to a wall.
There is no way to fix stupid, and unfortunately these dogs pay the price. |
