Hi! I am new to this forum, hello everyone!!
I have a baby yorkie (she is 10 weeks old). At morning I take her out and she eliminates and then has breakfast. During the day she is either outside or playing with my parents at home. I play with her when I get back form work and place her in a pen at night to sleep. I place pee pads in case she wants to go, and always uses them.
I have one concern, she lies down on her pad and plays with her toys, even if the pad is peed on! I don't understand since she has a bed, but prefers the pad. She also steps on her pee or poo if she's very excited or playing once she is out (is this normal?), the space she is in is quite large. It grosses me out that she always smells like pee.
Is there any way I can stop her from doing that?
