Puppies that leave home too soon have many ways of dealing with the frustration. Nipping and biting are a couple of ways they "play." Try to keep her calm as possible and don't let anyone play rough with her like playing tug or in any way getting her too excited. Try to give her a lot of exercise by walking, running, playing fetch. A bored dog tends to dig and become destructive. Terriers usually are high energy especially as puppies and their energy has to be directed in healthy ways. A tired puppy is a happy puppy and does not get in nearly as much trouble. |
