Most pups at that age are very stubborn and hate the leash. You pretty much have to work on it and at first a bit of a tug on the leash just may be your only sulution to get them moving. It's best to have consistence behavior training every day in order to get him to do what you want not the other way around. When I trained mine to walk on a leash I just did several trips around my yard a couple of times a week. Making sure to use command works and treating them for a job well done. Cheerios work well for this or even just an "adda boy" or both. Positive reinforcements and consistency is the key to any well behavior dog. They soon got the hint of what was expected of them.

If you have difficult getting him use to the harness & leash try Leash/ Umbilical cord training in your home. It help with any potty issues you may be having too.
