Liz, Diddy is so smart! It's so much fun to teach them things when they catch on fast! Toto doesn't bark except occasionally when she plays. We broke her of that in one afternoon ... we read in one of our training books that when they do something you don't like, you in turn do something that they don't like! The method is ... when they are in their crate and they bark, simply tap on the crate with something metal and they HATE that sound! It only took about 6 times and she never did it again! [you don't have to tap hard ... just a gentle tap will do it]. Also ... the biting and chewing ... when he does that just make sure you hand him something that it's OK for him to bite and chew on! That worked for Toto ... she is 14 months and still wants to chew a lot at times ... we just make sure she has something handy that she loves to chew! Good luck!
