If you use the right diapers they wick away from the skin. I used cloth diapers with 2 of my 3 kids and you couldn't even feel that the diapers were wet, I have fabric that I could make similar diapers out of, but my kids didn't have fur.. LOL I certainly don't want to cause any sort of skin issues, but if she's peeing in her bed she's laying in that too, at least I could change a diaper in the night... I try and take her potty when I wake up in the night, sometimes she goes, and sometimes not... but usually she has gone potty in her bed by morning...
