Your exactly right. I think I was just feeling very over-sensitive about the little guy. I lost my sweet Sydney 18 months ago to renal failure, and now my tiny Kia, is also in renal failure....and I always kept them both in full, beautiful coat.....but I am sure, if they had been lost for a day or two, they would look just as bad.
I'm glad owners located their little guy, and I am sure they were beyond happy to have him back.
I can imagine the panic they must have felt...with him missing.
