I also use the yorkie shuffle... we don't wear shoes in the house so that also helps.
When I first got Remy there was a little girl at the vets that was in a bad way due to being steped on and her leg was broken. That vet was a bit old fashion and took the leg off
I now have read there are ways that leg could have been saved... so op don't give up and find the best care you can. Good luck
