 my greasy guy

i wanted to share my story about my Brew's greasy hair.
He is 1 year 3 months and i have been giving him weekly baths. by the end of the week his hair would be noticibly greasy to the touch and to the eye. i was always extra careful to give lots of extra rinses for the shampoo and conditioner (and found the spray function on the kitchen tap a great helper)
ANYWAY i was getting crazy bathing him every week and only looking great for about 5 of them.
this time last week when i bathed him a skipped the conditioer completely - which i really didn't want to do because the shampoo alone gave his hair a almost waxy feel when wet in the sink that i didn't like. (similar to a soap residue from bar soap on the skin)
WELL i'm now at 7 days and he is still looking great! i don't know if i can push it to two weeks, but it's leaps and bounds better then before.
i thought i would put this out there for any other greasy guys out there, it may help. Brew has the silky-straight type hair. (attaching picture to show hair type) |
