Baci's results of her BAT were pre meal 2.7 normal and 78.6 high (norm being less then 20)
my vet said since she has no symtoms, it could be toxins...something she got into that i am not aware of, or of couse something more serious. She suggested a ultra sound to rule out the serious ones!?!? she also said we could do a exray first. I have been looking up symptoms of liver shunt but thankfully Baci has none. If it is just toxins, I am wondering if the SAMe supplement that the Dr. put her on, will resolve the issue and she will be fine. Has anyone been in this situatuation where elevated levels turn out to be nothing or is it always a liver shunt or mvd...which I don't even know what that is...I am sorry to say
