Doesn't sound normal at all. Jilly's scar was even, tiny and her nipples totally unaffected by her surgery! She had zero lumps or bumps or irregularities. But she was my only girl to have this surgery so she is all I've got to go by. My sister's Silkie was spayed and she had nothing like that and she was larger than Jilly, about 7 lbs. but her incision was bumpless, tiny and left her nipples even, too.
That sounds awful! There should be no reason in the world to have to tug skin so much to close that tiny spay-surgery wound that then caused the nipples to be misaligned!!!! I believe I would get a second opinion on what is going on with the incision closure, healing and the lumps and bumps.
