I don't know any breeders in your area but some good tips are that the parents should have genetic testing, you should be able to see both parents, parents should be an excellent example of the breed, puppies don't go to there new homes until 12 weeks, they are not living in outside buildings or outside, AKC registered, health guarantee, wont use words like teacup or mini yorkie,the breeder will not breed many types of dogs and wont breed mixes. The thing is breeders breed to better the breed and when you breed mixes you are not bettering the breed your just making more of the types of dogs that are in shelters.
