Of course they will give you paperwork....You buy from a reputable breeder that does all the necessary health checks to ensure the puppies have the best possible start in life...free of genetic health problems such as AAI, Luxatting Patela's Liver Shunt...the list goes on. Check the breeders home, ask to see both parents, ask for proof of genetic testing, ensure you get a written health guarantee...buy your breeder first. Again check the breed standard and the YTCA website, start there it will give you a list of breeders. The pet shops must get the pups from somewhere...just as there are un-ethical breeders out there, the must be good breeders working to better the breed and not trying to make a quick buck off of some poor babies back.
