Oh good Lord, I practically grew up in a Moose Lodge, American Legion, and VFW. My mom and step dad are both alcoholics
I remember crying, wanting to go home and go to sleep, and they would just say "have another coke" and ignore us kids
They do a lot of charity work, yes, but a lot of drinking mostly. And yes, they do smoke in most of them. Gee I wonder why I grew up to become a smoker and a diabetic?
I'm sure there are other organizations that could use some nice new members such as yourselves
