I've been giving mine Trifexis for 7 months, which contains spinosad, the generic name for Comfortis. I haven't seen any problems. However, that doesn't mean it couldn't trigger an illness in another dog. Some issues with meds are genetic, and not all dogs will have the gene that could be triggered when they are exposed to something. It is also possible that your pup was already headed towards Addison's and the Comfortis pushed it over the edge. I'm so sorry.
