My boy also never lost his baby teeth. (He will be nine in October) The vet pulled most of his baby teeth at the same time he was neutered, but must have missed a few that he removed later. The problem with them not coming out as they should have is that a couple of his molars have come in sideways. This has not been a problem, though and he still eats normally. I would advise you to have them removed if they don't come out. Their teeth are crowded anyway without the extra teeth and they are prone to tooth problems. As my vet explained, they may be toy dogs, but they still have the same number of teeth as a larger dog, and this is a reason they have more oral health problems. I brush my guy's teeth and he still has had a number of teeth removed that were loose or not heathy around the gums. So getting the extra teeth out and regular brushing is important for his future oral health. My vet jokes that vets can put their kids through college on caring for yorkie teeth.
