Welcome to YT. Congrats on your new puppy. I think Teresa was right on in recommending reading potty training posts on this site. Also, it is true that puppies are sooo much work; however, the time you put in now will pay off very soon!
It is probably not you or the ipad that is making it difficult to upload pictures. You may want to upload infared so you can resize your pictures. It took me a while to figure it out. Here is the link
