Do you have the link to your local shelter I would be interested in seeing the yorkies/other breeds that are available.
BUT I also got some good/bad news.
The little doggie I rescued is apparently a frequent flyer to the humane society, they told me I should have kept the dog ... They said if the dog comes in to the humane society one more time the dog will not be returned to the owner, I gave them my number and told them if that dog comes in again to please call me because our family would love that dog. I am not going to count on that doggie, we will continue looking for our own family dog. I wouldn't be able to live with myself keeping a dog that doesn't belong to me, but maybe if she gets caught again we will be first on the call list for her, poor little doggie. |
I think it’s really irresponsible for the humane society to tell you that you should have kept the dog. They may have the legal right to take ownership of a dog, but a private citizen does not. People are going to read this reply and think its okay for them to just keep a dog, it is not okay. I think you were wise to give them your name and tell them that you’d like to adopt the dog though.
How big are the Lhaso Apso's? I've only seen small ones, but they are an adorable dog.
