It does seem so that the rate of growth you describe before is kind of fast. I had Gracie's hair length cut just to below her belly at the end of May and it has grown about and inch and a half since then. I don't think it will get near the floor until around December. I was actually amazed it has grown as fast as it did.
If your dog's hair has not grown back at all then that would also be very unusual. Maybe an Omega 3 supplement may help. Has the skin gotten dried out from the sun maybe? Dry skin can effect the roots and the hair growth. Stress of any kind can also cause changes. |
