I got a kick out of this thread... my first baby never slept between my legs, she would curl up at my back or stomach. So, when I got Toby, and he insists on sleeping between my legs, it was a bit of a shock. He'll go down to my feet, and paw until I lift up the comforter and let him settle in. Since I travel out of the country and can't always take him with me, there are a few people who babysit him, and I had never even thought about warning them about it, until I was talking with one of them recently. He told me his wife woke him up one night yelling, "James... what are YOU doing?"

Now, if he ever goes with someone who hasn't experienced Toby sleeping over, I always give them fair warning...
