I wondered about this thread too at first glance!!
Toto wants to be on my lap ... day & night!! I sleep curled up so she just snuggles in and sleeps for awhile on my "lap" & alternates snuggling with me & snuggling with Papa!! It's funny .... the decision for her to sleep with us was OUR decision, not hers! She was happy in her crate but would lay on our bed while we watched TV, then we would tuck her into her crate .... she would just be sleeping so sweetly, we hated to disturb her .... been sleeping with us ever since!! If I rouse at night I always reach to find her to check that she is OK .... sometimes when I touch her .... there's a hand already "checking" on her!! We both just love her so much and even worry about her in our sleep!!!
