Almost very unusual but my son that turned 8 in August had never stayed the night away from me, ge and my 13 year old daughter are the ones interested in seeing dog shows.
Of course I'm elated my kids are interested as I am obviously very interested in attending.

I'd have to plan a trip witg a sitter for baby I know hed not be a good attendee...

Would it ve taboo to bring an 8 & 13I year old?

They're very well behaved and attend adult type performances so they know how to be composed quite and look only with their eyes and not hands
Well behaved kids are always welcome. But they sometimes can get a little bored, unless they are trully gaga over the dogs. If you can take a small stool, your feet can get tired from standing around ringside.

Large shows often have lots of great vendors; I did I think mentioned the shopping :-) You can get lots of stuff not available in plain old regular dog stores.

How far away are you from Eugene Oregon? I seem to recall a large show there round Sept(ish) time frame. It is so beautiful there, well worth the drive along the coast!.

Ohhh I'm excited for you. I'm thinking of flying out to Tucson this November to attend our BRT Nationals; most especially if the breeder from Russia I want to purchase from will be attending.
