I am new on Yorkie Talk. I have 1 5 1/2 month morkie (yorkie/maltese).
Her name is Baci and she weighs 4.6 lbs. She went in for her spaying yesterday and the vet called to say her alt levels were elevated (133). She suggested to do a bile acids test and said we could get results in 24-48 hrs. She sent her home on SAMe. We are so worried bc I keep reading she could have a liver disease. Does anyone know if 133 is high? What is norm? What else could elevate this reading? Has anyone been through this and if so can I get suggestions.
