Oh, man, unless I had reams of empirical data of years of success that proved this worked to keep heartworms out of dogs, I would steer clear of it myself. Unless you have seen a dog trying to live through heartworm treatment and seen what they and the owner goes through, I would think twice about taking the chance. It is a ghastly disease process and what it does to the dog B4 the unthinkable treatment even starts is just awful!
