i do hate giving them all those toxic chemicals but like you said you cant take a chance with the heartworm .
i guess i just needed a little reassurance from another pet owner.
i am going with the natural organic flea & tick preventative and cutting back on vax other than rabies of course so i guess that will help a lot...
