I would also make sure you don't have to have any special permits.

My husband is a plumber and we have to pull permits to change out water heaters. We also had to pull a permit to change bar back into a closet (it started out a closet and the previous owner turned it into a bar) in our own house. Ridiculous what the "officials" require, especially for house we pay for... They have to make their money somehow I guess.
