Answer: I also firmly believe dogs are calmer, less territorial, less aggressive, and can avoid some serious diseases and cancers simply by being spayed or neutered. It is my opinion they are happier and being a pet, than active breeding dogs. Intact dogs are always looking for that next mate and worried about rivals.

this is so not true.

I have neighbors with corgie, poodle and american cocker.

All turns more aggressive after sterile. So calmer dogs after sterile are very individual and the myth has been busted in my neighborhood.

The corgie used to love playing with dogs, now he cant stand dogs around him.

The poodle started barking at any human walking near her, doesnt seems to bother her much previously.

American cocker used to play with my westie. now he seems wary of him for whatever reason.

All this truly happened overnight right after the operation.

So think about it before u do it.
