Losing weight is a big sign she needs to go to the vet. Because Yorkies are so small when they start loosing weight it is an problem that immediately needs to be addressed because they don't have much weight to play with and because of that can go down hill very fast. I do think if you did not like that vet that it is better to find a new one. Trusting your vet is extremely important.
