Notify all the vets in the area & tell them to SCAN EVERY NEW PET/CLIENT for microchip. Fax/email them & shelters Teddy's picture! I think shelters automatically scan for microchips, but recently a YT'ers family member's yorkie went missing & someone tried to keep her, even took her to the vet & they didn't scan her. If they did, it would've raised a red flag...
