My little Abba Daddy is a regular visitor to my AD patients in nursing homes and hospitals. He is a wonderful therapy dog. Rubin and Ginny Joy work very well with children and often attend my little pet care talks. Gracie makes in home visits and loves the seniors she is not a real therapy dog, she doesn't like children, cats and only visits shut ins and seniors. |
The only thing that worries me is when a senior approaches us and bends over to pet him. I usually pick him up to their level. I find that I must always be on it unless we're absolutely alone. Many have balance issues but tend to forget about it when they see him.
