My brother called me the other night about e-cigs and asked what I thought about them.....I told him all I had researched about them, he got one brand....cant remember which brand it was!..("V" or "Victory" or something...seems like the packaging is black, very elegant looking.....) I like the idea chachi had about the patch in conjunction with the e-cig...if he is having too much trouble, I may suggest that for him....Bless all of you smokers, trying so hard to quit....congratulations to those that succeed, encouragement is in order for those that try, whether they succeed or fail.....deserve something for the effort.....He has quit before, as my momma did...they both had stopped then started back during my father's battle with cancer.....I do want to say this for you that just can NOT seem to quit....my mother smoked AT LEAST 3 packs a day....she smoked the filtered, low, tar, light, whatever the ones are that supposedly have less of the tar and nicotine in them....PLUS she added these filters you can buy....when she had her chest xray done pre-operatively, (she was always terrified of lung cancer and just KNEW she was probably eaten up with it!) her docs were absolutely amazed how clear her lungs were! She was 76 years old, had smoked since she was 18, and they said her lungs were as clear as someone who had not smoked....go figure THAT!!!
Just be careful combining the two methods as they both contain nicotine... can be fatal.
