Sheila.
Now we are both in tears and joined by the misery of this terrible and sneaky disease. We cannot imagine as humans being so close to death with no symptoms. Why does it have to happen to our dear furbabes?? I spent months looking for reasons for what happened. What did I feed her? Did she get exposed to toxins??? No answers as you also know. It just seems that dogs have the bad genes for this affliction. We cannot blame ourselves, I know that now.
May your little Nia beat this disease and make her loving momma feel better.
We are here whenever you want to talk, it does help to share the stress and pain.
Love and peace.
