For a couple of years, we just had to keep Chloe on a schedule. We had the toughest time teaching her to let us know. Then we finally got a house with a fenced in backyard. Now she will go to the backdoor and whine. If we don't catch on quick enough, she'll come get us and then race us to the door. Often times, she'll scratch at the glass too once we get close.

The trick is figuring out when she's whimpering because wants more food, more attention, or to go out! She's training us though.
