I say definitely neuter...... but depending on his size is how I would decide when to have it done. Both Seymour & Seeger were neuter about 9-10 months old. I waited a bit longer because I just didn't feel comfortable with the surgery until they were bigger, older, & stronger.

This is definitely something every dog owner needs to consider..... and there are also many health issues that can come along with an un-neutered boy as he gets older.
