I don't charge more for females compared to males. Anything I have that I am not keeping is sold for pet. Show breeders who are reputable will do the same thing except some do sell for show/breeding but to people they know well. Too many have been burned trusting their lines to a newcomer and their lines ended up where they should not have been.
It has been a while since I have sold a female for pet. Reason being I haven't had any born for a while now, had a couple of all male litters. That happens.
If you are serious about showing get serious about attending shows, chatting up breeders at the shows, be prepared for co ownership if you do manage convince someone to trust you. |
