 Need help too!!
I haven't been here in awhile but I know I can always come here and get the best advice!! I have "Lily" and she is 4 now. She is very "high strung" to say the least!!lol So I thought possibly a baby sister would help calm her down and she might play with the puppy instead of bark at TV etc etc etc!! She HATES the puppy!! I have had "Sophie" (she is 12 weeks old) for eleven days now and I keep them apart so Lily won't hurt her. Will this get better??? Should I stick it out or sell the puppy and let Lily be "spoiled brat only child"????
Today I held them one in each arm and they were nose to nose and it was ok!! Lily actually foamed at the mouth the first couple days!! Sophie is doing great in her crate and confined areas and she is going on pads probably 85% of the time!! That is so much better than Lily did at that age so maybe there is hope?? I would love to see them get along and be able to keep both of them but I won't do it unless they end up being ok together, I would have to sell the puppy because Lily is obviously with us until death do us part!! Has anyone had problems with bringing new puppy home with other dog like this and if so please help me to handle this!! I know I can count on one of you out there to know what I should do!!!
