I sincerely think that a higher level of exercise (which both of mine get daily) has an impact on how much they grow. Both Her and Sneakers parents are within normal specs and Becca (when born) was not an exceptionally large puppy. It may vary with another animal ? |

I've often wondered how exercise affects weight in dogs. Jillie, at 5 1/2 pounds, weighs more than her Mom or her dad, and I'm relatively certain she gets a lot more exercise than they did. I don't know about Eddie's parents, but he's been no lighter than 9 1/2 pounds since he was a year old. He's just under 10 now.
